Rob joined Isler Northwest LLC in January, 2001 and currently serves as Managing Partner.  Prior to that, he spent seven years in the shipping industry and five years in men’s clothing retail.  Rob received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Portland State University in Accounting as well as Computer Information Systems.  As an owner of Isler, Rob assists clients with business and tax advisory services.  He has a broad range of experience including business operations, real estate, succession planning, estate planning, and IRS audit support.  He has focused his practice in the elder care industries, real estate transactions (including 1031 exchanges), towing industry, automotive repair, manufacturing businesses, and professional services (legal and consulting). Rob is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland.

Rob grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon and is married with two adult children.  He participates in various civic organizations.  Rob is a supporter of the arts in the community and has a particular interest in classical music performances both live and recorded.  He also enjoys traveling the world, as time allows, and snorkeling in tropical locations.

In addition to his other duties, Rob volunteers with the Oregon Society of CPAs on their Taxation Strategic Committee and is a board member of the Portland Tax Forum.
