Carol J. Nelson, CPA joined the firm in 2002.  Due to her husband’s temporary relocation to Cleveland, Ohio, Carol continued her public accounting career with a Cleveland CPA firm from 2003 through 2005, whereupon she returned with her husband to her native Portland to resume her career with Isler Northwest.  A tax supervisor with Isler, Carol’s focus is in tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, small businesses, and estates and trusts.   She received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Portland State University, where she also completed her Master of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Financial Analysis (MSFA).

Carol enjoys cycling, cooking, and traveling with her husband who is an airline pilot.  She serves as a mentor in the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants mentorship program.
